that time of year again.

Somewhere between putting on socks before I jumped into bed and ordering my first hot soy latté from Starbucks I realized that fall is finally here.

As much as I hate to see summer go, and there was not nearly enough summer weather this summer, there is a silver lining. I’m talking about the star of autumn gastronomy:

The PUMPKIN

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin soup, pumpkin curry, pumpkin ravioli, steamed pumpkin, baked pumpkin, pumpkin spice bread. Basically everything is better with pumpkin.

    Baked pumpkin seeds!!! Those are to die for with the right recipe. But you have to chew them up good, if not, a pumpkin grows in your belly and it looks like your pregnant. It happened to a guy I know named Jack O. Lantern. True story.
